Start your electric Jurni today

EVs of today have the latest technology and offer lower running costs, all while reducing your carbon footprint. There’s never been a better time to switch to an electric vehicle. So why wait?

Pick from hundreds of electric and hybrid lease deals, in every shape and size, to suit every budget. Many new models have extended mileage ranges, which are ideal for most UK drivers. And with all the benefits EVs bring, it’s no surprise that the number of company cars switching to electric is increasing.

If you’re looking for lower initial costs with easy-to-manage monthly payments, leasing could be the perfect option for you.

Why switch to electric?

Electric vehicles can save you money. No matter where you plug in, they are often cheaper to run than their petrol or diesel counterparts. And with charging networks all over the UK, you’re never far from power.

Benefits of electric vehicles

  • Latest technology
  • Reduced running costs
  • Lower fuel bills
  • Savings on road tax and maintenance
  • Improved performance
  • More cabin space
  • Improved air quality
  • Unrestricted access to city centres

How does electric leasing work?

Electric and hybrid car leasing works the same as it does for petrol or diesel cars. You agree the contract length, annual mileage and an initial rental amount, then pay a fixed monthly rental for the use of the vehicle.

What’s more, you can add our Upkeep package for affordable, fixed-cost maintenance. You can relax knowing that your services and MOTs, roadside assistance, and replacement tyres are covered.

The basics:

  • Flexible initial payment to suit your budget
  • Fixed monthly rental payments
  • Your choice of contract length
  • Optional maintenance Upkeep package
  • No depreciation risk

Electric vehicle leasing FAQs

What’s the difference between electric and hybrid cars?

A fully electric car is 100% powered by an electric motor and a battery.

A hybrid car will use a combination of an internal combustion engine (ICE) such as petrol or diesel alongside an electric motor and battery as its power source. Hybrid cars are very clever and recharge their batteries through regenerative braking.

Plug-in Hybrids have larger batteries and use a combination of regenerative braking and charging from an external outlet, such as at home or a public charging station.

How can I charge my electric car?

As electric vehicles become more and more popular, charging points are more accessible than ever. With Jurni, you can access the Octopus Electroverse public charging network to find a charger at over 800,000 points across the UK and Europe.

You can also charge at home with Ohme! If your home doesn’t already have a charging point, we can arrange for one to be installed, so charging your car will always be convenient.

Is it cheaper to lease an electric car?

Leasing an electric vehicle is a much more affordable option than paying in full when buying outright. With a lease, you can benefit from the latest tech, less maintenance, and the knowledge you’re making a greener choice.

Electric vehicles typically have higher upfront costs than their petrol or diesel alternatives, but lower running costs. Electric drivers typically benefit from cheaper fuel and less maintenance — so it can even out in the long run.

What is the average range on a single charge?

Electric cars can take you further on a single charge than you might think, with average battery ranges reaching almost 300 miles on newer models. The EV range will depend on the battery capacity of the model you choose, your driving habits and weather conditions. So, it’s best to consider these factors and your everyday travels when choosing a new electric car.

What is an 03 number?

Ofcom introduced 03 numbers to give organisations a single, nationwide point of contact, without extra costs for consumers. Calls to 03 numbers - such as the main Jurni number 03330 918 560 - are charged at the same rate as calls to 01 or 02 numbers from a UK landline, and may even be free if included in your mobile plan.

Can I lease a car with bad credit?

Before you take out a lease agreement, a funder will perform a credit search on you (or your company, when leasing through a business), to assess the level of financial risk. The healthier your credit rating, the more likely it is that a funder will approve your lease. Customers with low credit ratings are more likely to be declined for finance.

Read more information on Credit Eligibility here, or speak to a Leasing Specialist if you'd like to talk about your credit status in more detail.
